matt leopard printed nails

I'm sorry this picture is not the best... I took it with my IPad (I'm posting this with it, now)
So you may not be able to see but the base color is matt, I got a matt topcoat for Christmas. And then I made leopard print on it. It makes a fun contrast. I truly hope you had a merry Christmas!

Santa's Clothing Nails

Gingerbread Nails

My gingerbread men look like that. One is scared and the other one 

is crazy. 9 Days 'til Christmas. I just made dots on my 

non-dominant hand, since i'm pretty much still practicing on my nail art 

skills with it.

Finland's Independent Day Nail Art

My left hand witch is much easier for me to do
since I'm right handed

So tomorrow is Finland's Independent Day. Since I'm from Finland I had to do these blue&white nails.

If you did not know the colors of the Finnish flag are blue and white. Some of my nails worked out great and some less great. This was actually my first time water-marbling, so I'm pretty happy with the result. :D

Topcoats

China glaze: Dried in 1,30 min and did smear but again on y right hand

Sally Hansen: dried in 1 min and smeared  on my thumb

In my last design:

I wore them for four days and on the nails I had china glaze the tip was

completely chipped. Sally Hansen didn't chip at all.

     

Simple Plaid Design

I made a simple plaid design. I hope you enjoy this one, too.

Insta-Dri VS. Fast Forward

The Insta-Dri is on my middle and ring finger!
This time:
Insta-

Dri dried in 1,30 minutes and didn't smear.
Fast Forward dried in 50 seconds and did smear
on my right hand's (left one in the picture) thumb.
In the picture you can see how it chipped. But only the china glaze one chipped. This is how much it chipped on 3 days...


 

Monkey Nails

Smearing: either of the polishes smeared in this design.

Drying time: Sally Hansen dried in 1,30 minute

China glaze: 1 minute

 The china glaze topcoat is on my thumb, middle and index finger

Sally Hansen is on the rest of my nails.

I'm doing a topcoat review...

I'm testing two different topcoats: 

China Glaze fast forward and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri topcoat. 

I'm looking at three things: 

*Smearing

*Drying Time

*Chipping 

When I post the nail designs I'll tell you, except the 

chipping, that I'll tell you in my next post. I'll try them in two 

designs and then I'll give like stars out of five for every category!

I hope this helps you to choose your topcoat!

Yes, Christmas nails... They came out looking like 

Christmas nails, by mistake. But still I'm really 

exited for Christmas. On my ring finger and thumb,
